East End Boise: Fox in and Cat out- HELP!

Our beloved cat Feather has been missing since Tuesday morning (6/7/11) and we hope she’s just taking an extended vacation to get away from the family of foxes who recently took up residence under our deck or behind our house. She is a friendly outdoor cat and her collar may have come off as she often is climbing trees and getting it hooked on obstacles. If anyone finds her please call me at 871-4601. She does have an implanted chip that any vet or shelter can scan to get our contact info. She was last seen near the cross streets of Hays and Haines in Boise’s East End. The momma fox has been killing lots of squirrels and I am hoping that Feather has not had a confrontation with her. Feather is small, adventurous and fairly friendly to strangers. Thanks for spreading the word to any East Enders.

One Response to “East End Boise: Fox in and Cat out- HELP!”

  1. We live in Meridian and our cat has been missing since June 11, 2011. We, too, have a fox in our neighborhood. We are guessing he got our cat. Neighbors say they have seen the fox in our yard three mornings this week. Being that our cat disappeared last Sunday morning (between 4:30 – 6:45 a.m.), it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what happened. Hope your cat fares better.
